Before I ever held a professional camera, I held stories.
Growing up in Barranquilla, my favorite “game” wasn’t played outside, but on the living room floor, surrounded by stacks of family photo albums. I would spend hours organizing them, captivated by the frozen moments of people I loved. I remember sitting with my grandmother, pointing to a faded print, and asking, “Tell me about this moment.”
Through her stories, I realized that a photograph isn’t just paper and ink—it’s a portal. It’s the only way to hold onto the “nervous laughter” before a speech or the “quiet glance” between a father and daughter. This childhood curiosity grew into a lifelong passion for visual storytelling.
The Bridge Between Two Worlds: My path eventually led me back to my German roots in Switzerland, where I traded my YouTube documentation for a Professional Photography diploma at the cap Fotoschule in Zürich. Today, my work is a reflection of my dual heritage: I bring the vibrant, emotional warmth of my Colombian heart and pair it with the meticulous precision and technical excellence of my Swiss training.
